The Gond Art tradition is deeply connected to the natural world. Practised by the Gond community of Central India, the art form traditionally brought nature, folklore, festivals, and everyday life into homes through detailed paintings filled with dots, lines, animals, birds, trees, and vibrant colours.
This collection presents two handcrafted interpretations of that tradition. Flight of the Forest depicts an elephant soaring through the skies alongside deer, celebrating harmony among living beings. Gentle Giant presents the elephant as a majestic guardian associated with wisdom, resilience, and balance within the forest.
The artworks bring the visual storytelling of Gond Art into contemporary spaces while retaining its strong connection to nature and cultural heritage.
